One mistake many beginners make is rushing through BitLife. When I first started I constantly pressed the Age Up button without reading events. Later I realized that important opportunities often appear in those event windows in this game.

Before aging up in BitLife:

  • Check your BitLife characters health.
  • Look at happiness levels in BitLife.
  • Review relationships in BitLife.
  • Make sure school performance is improving in BitLife.

Spending a few seconds each year can make a huge difference later in BitLife.
